Are you interested in becoming more involved in the Theta Delta Alumni Association or in assisting the Active Chapter?
One of the most helpful things you can do is to refer potential pledge candidates to the active chapter. If you know a Freshman or Sophomore who is a student at the Ohio State University main campus and who may be interested in learning more about Beta Theta Pi, please provide their contact information to the chapter Recruiting Officers Jon Rohrs (419-246-2659 / [email protected]) or TJ Vanhoutten (267-265-8611 / [email protected]). Pledges must have at least 12 credit hours and a 3.0 or greater GPA. A brief fact sheet is attached here for your reference. In addition to the many benefits of membership (leadership development, brotherhood, scholarships, risk management, athletics and social) it is clear that living in the chapter house is very competitively priced compared to OSU student housing and meal plans. OSU student housing and meal plans range from $2735 to $3805 per quarter. Total costs including housing, meals and membership in the Fraternity are $2958 per quarter.
There are many other ways to become involved. You may be interested in hosting or attending an upcoming recruiting event, or in becoming an Alumni Association Trustee, an official Chapter Advisor, or in mentoring or sponsoring an internship for an active member. If you would like more information regarding any of these opportunities, please contact me Rod Gregory, Alumni Association Vice President (703-507-1578 / [email protected]).
Finally, it is time for the 2011 Theta Delta Alumni Association Annual fund drive. If you have already made a contribution, please accept my sincere thanks. If not, please consider doing so now. Click here to make your gift. No contribution is too small. We especially appreciate first time donations and contributions.
As alumni, we play a critical role in making sure our chapter lives on. Alumni contributions are at the heart of everything we do. Our communications, events and support for the chapter all rely on gifts to our annual fund.
Your gift makes a significant impact on these efforts. Please give generously to the annual fund. Thank you!
Contributions or gifts to Beta Theta Pi are not tax deductible.
