Closing the Gap

Groundbreaking for the new house is set for May 9th with the demolition of the venerable old house set for the following week. The dream and promise is about to be realized, and we will be seeing a new house ready for brothers in the fall of 2016. THANK YOU to the 130 alumni brothers who have supported this undertaking for future Delta Chis with gifts totaling $913,000!

To those of you who have not yet participated in the campaign efforts with your financial support, let me ask you to reflect on your days at Delta Chi. As a brother of Delta Chi, your fondest memories of college are more than likely tied to your membership in Delta Chi and the men who became your brothers. As a brother of Delta Chi, you probably learned critical life lessons and skills that have helped you throughout adulthood, both professionally and personally. Our alumni are our fraternity’s greatest and most valuable asset, and we will call on each and every brother to ensure that we leave our legacy and continue to provide these same experiences for future generations.

So, with that in mind, ask yourself, “What can I do now to show my support and pay it forward for generations to come? Why should this be important to me? Do I care?”

For $1 a day, you can help close the gap and help the campaign reach its $1M goal. Your support will help to build a state-of-the-art house that will attract the highest caliber of young men to carry on our legacy. The house will be one of the best, if not the best, fraternity house on Michigan’s campus and a home-away-from-home for our alumni brothers in Ann Arbor we can all be proud of.

Here’s the math: For $1 a day for three years, your support to the campaign will amount to $30 a month, $360 a year, and $1,080 over the course of three years. Be among the brothers who help close the gap and your name will be permanently on our donor honor roll as a member of the Red and Buff Club.
