Celebrate Delta Chi’s next 100 years on the Michigan campus at the chapter’s 2016 fall reunion, September 30 – October 2, 2016. We’ll be rekindling fraternal bonds, attending the Michigan-Wisconsin game and dedicating the new chapter house. This is arguably the most important event in the recent history of the Michigan Chapter of Delta Chi. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime, must-attend event with a big turnout expected. So, please mark your calendars, reserve your football tickets and make you lodging reservations at an early date.
On Friday evening, we’ll gather at the new house for refreshments and munchies. You’ll reconnect with your pledgemates and socialize with other alums. Later, we’ll form common-era groups and depart for dinner at selected local restaurants.
On Saturday morning, 34 Delta Chi actives — the lucky first residents of the new house — will provide coffee and donuts prior to the Michigan-Wisconsin game. We’ll then depart for the Big House, where Harbaugh’s Wolverines will trounce the Badgers. (We have reserved a block of 30 tickets estimated to cost $75-$100 per ticket for brothers and their guests. On Saturday evening, we’ll dedicate the new chapter house. The dedication ceremony will include a catered dinner in the Falconer Flex Room. The chapter A and the chapter BB will describe life in the new chapter house. And, members of the fundraising team and construction crew will describe how funds were raised and construction was undertaken. We’ll also be unveiling of the Honor Roll plaque. Permanently displayed, this plaque will contain the names of those brothers whose generous donations made the new chapter house possible.
Weather permitting, we will have a golf outing on Sunday, October 2. Golfers of all abilities are welcome.
Hotel Accommodations
For out-of-town attendees, we have reserved 50 rooms at the Comfort Inn in Chelsea just west of Ann Arbor at a special rate of $149 per night. Reservations can be booked by calling 734-433-8000. Be sure to reference the “Delta Chi Fraternity Alumni” group when you call to get this group rate. The rooms will be held until August 30, 2016. After that point, any unreserved rooms in our block will be released and made available for public sale.
