Our DX Annual Golf Outing was held at Leslie Park Golf Course on Saturday, June 1st and was a huge success!
We had 13 alumni players plus John Levinson’s wife Kathy and the present active chapter “A”, Eric Durudogan rounding out 4 teams (wives and significant others were encouraged to attend). We competed in a scramble format which gives golfers of all abilities a chance to contribute, and they did. Three teams finished 1 over par, while the fourth team was 2 under! Not surprisingly, the winning team was comprised of our younger alumni, all graduating since 2010. The team of Chris Bence ’10, Jack Dean ’11, Zack Jones ’12 and Jordan Hill ’16 are proud winners of the Kimball Kup for 2019. Next year the older players will have to be awarded handicap strokes!
After golf we enjoyed an early dinner at the Pretzel Bell in downtown Ann Arbor. Non-golfers and wives were also encouraged to attend. It was very enjoyable to visit with classmates and other alumni.
A Great Group of Golfers! Several of or brothers came out on June 1st to our outing.
