The Alumni Association of Delta Chi will be hosting a chapter reunion on Michigan’s Homecoming Weekend, October 4-6, 2019.
On Friday, alumni and actives are invited to join us for a pizza party at the new chapter house from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or later. This will be an informal gathering, a chance to meet the current actives and reconnect with your classmates. These get-togethers have proven very popular and well attended in years past. This pizza party is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
On Saturday morning, coffee and donuts will be provided by the active chapter beginning at 10:00 AM. Following, some brothers will watch the Wolverines overpower the Hawkeyes in the Big House. Others will choose to watch the game in the friendly confines of the new chapter house. Our in-house chef will provide lunches for those brothers watching the game at the house, with a choice of turkey wrap or ground-beef grinder for a cost of $15 available from noon to 1 PM.
On Saturday evening, all alumni and guests are invited to gather for a communal buffet at the chapter house beginning at 6:00 PM. We will be offering Italian-grilled chicken breast or a beef entrée with vegetables, salad and dessert for $20. To ensure that the correct number of meals are prepared, it is imperative that we have a commitment from our alumni and guests to choose either the chicken or beef entrée. It is advisable to pay for your meal in advance to make sure you are not disappointed! Please send a check for the lunch and/or dinner to John Levinson, 8770 Oak Beach Drive, Commerce Township, MI 48382. Last minute requests may not be able to be fulfilled.
For the Friday evening and Saturday afternoon events, alumni and guests are advised to bring their own adult beverages, be it either beer or wine. Hard alcoholic beverages are not allowed in chapter house. Cups, ice and soft drinks will be provided.
On Sunday, we’ll play golf at UofM’s Blue Course, weather permitting. Morning tee times are planned, so our out-of-town brothers can catch an airplane back home.
We look forward to revisiting the new chapter house with you. It’s a modern, spacious and clean facility that you and your the guest will enjoy.
