Martin Nelson, Honorary Brother initiated in 1988, passed away in September of 2015 after a year-long battle with leukemia at University of Michigan Hospital. My father was a well-known fixture with the house: manning the grill and singing in the drinking room during homecomings, hosting associate members at my parents’ home for retreats as well as their annual Rose Bowl party. Pall bearers at the funeral were Brothers Christopher Sujek ’90, Christopher Sirosky ’90, James Portelli ’90, and Wayne Nelson ’89. He will be missed greatly.
