2019 Alumni Reunion and Homecoming Event
The Michigan Chapter of Delta Chi will be hosting this year’s annual reunion on the Michigan Homecoming weekend, October 4-6, 2019. Michigan will be playing the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Big House.
Friday Night: Alumni and actives are invited to join us for a pizza party at the new chapter house from 6 PM to 10 PM or later. This will be an informal gathering, a chance to meet the current actives and reconnect with your classmates. These get-togethers have been quite popular and well attended in years past.
Saturday Morning/Afternoon: Coffee and donuts will be provided at the chapter house in the morning at 10 AM. The kickoff time for the football game is yet to be announced. So, lunch or dinner arrangements will be provided at a later date. Ticket holders can hike or drive to the Big House and watch the Wolverines overwhelm the Hawkeyes. Others can enjoy the game on large-screen TVs in the chapter house.
Sunday Morning: We’ll play golf at UofM’s Blue Course, weather permitting. Morning tee times are planned, so our out-of-town brothers can catch an airplane back home.
Recommended Lodging: Ann Arbor hotels are largely booked on football weekends. And, they are unusually expensive, if available. However, we have reserved 15 rooms at the Comfort Inn in nearby Chelsea at the special rate of $159/night. Football Tickets: Football tickets may be limited due to the Homecoming weekend and the Iowa matchup. We recommend that you, your guests, and your fellow alums obtain tickets at an early date. In years past, StubHub provided tickets at a fair price for interested alums.
